NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF TECHNOLOGies

Technologies has revolutionized the world over the past 20 years, but this revolution has come without a price.

While there are great benefits to living in a world filled with technology, we must also consider some of the negative ways that technology has changed our lives. Few things come close to his enormousinfluence in our day-to-day life.

How has technologies impacted the world we live in? The truth is, that has changed a lot. Through the use of cell phones and computers with access to the internet, social media and more, we can connect anytime, 24/7.

Adopting a new technology can have major drawbacks. Now we have virtually no downtime. You can find yourself chained to your phone or tablet for most of the day. Maybe you can't help but look at your phone, and you can't even enjoy a meal without interrupting a text message or other notification.

This is not just an adult problem, as teens and children also live technology-affected lives on a daily basis. Almost everyone has probably experienced this problems to some extents. We sit down to relax at nights and are immediately interrupted by a phone call or text.

Many of us suffer from a crowd of negative result from overexposure to technology. The following list describes some aspects of the huge and sometimes negative impact of technology on our daily lives.

1. Technology affects our sleep patterns.

Technology has definitely had an impacts on the way we sleep. Many of us stay up very late at night texting friends or browsing social media.

It is difficult to store devices even when we are tired. How many of us are shamefaced of waking up in the middle of the nights and turning around to check our phones?

Children and adults alike spend countless hours watching funny cat videos or other unnecessary entertainment. It's hard to get away from apps that are intentionally designed to keep us engrossed.

All of this leads to interrupted sleep and poor sleep patterns in general. Light from televisions also affects our sleep patterns for those who fall asleep with the television on.

Adopting these habits regularly made our sleep worse. Using devices late at night disrupts our brain's production of melatonin, the sleep hormone, which prevents us from getting a good night's sleep.

2. Technology leaves us feeling isolated.

Attachment to our devices can also make us feel remote. A important lack of human contact can even lead to depression. When most of our interactions with others take place online, we may even feel disconnected from humanity. Sometimes our online friends aren't really friends at all.

Ultimately, electronic communication is a far cry from real human companionship and can even hurt your personal relationships. For example, the impersonal feeling of texting often leads to a lack of communication. As text communication continues to increase, this translates into a greater distance between us and even those closest to us. @ Read More:- theglamourmedia

3. Technology promotes a more sedentary lifestyle.

This can be one of the biggest drawback in a world full of devices. Kids who constantly play video games and those who spend a lot of their time online don't exercise as much.

Advances in technology allow us to stay glued to our devices, whether on the couch watching TV or with a cell phone in hand. What often begins with a quick scroll on social media quickly turns into a fall down the rabbit hole with no end in sight.

The more time we spend on YouTube and Instagram, the less time we spend outdoors doing other thing.

4. Technologies is a constant source of distraction.

Having all the answers in the world constantly at hand is a huge distraction. It can be as simple as having trouble holding a conversation or having trouble keeping the phones out of your hand while drivings.

If we are continually distracted by incoming messages and notification, we lose focus on what else we are trying to do. We have all seen peoples texting or scrolling while they
